Here are my favorite CDs for 2004 (no particular order). Some weren't actually RELEASED in 2004, but I listened to them nonstop in that year. Followed by this is a growing list of my top CDs of all time which influenced who I am as a person and artist today (notice the relative dearth of pianists... hmm... These are also in no particular order, which is why STYX [an obvious choice for #1] comes so far after Wayne [an obvious guilty pleasure]. I must confess a certain nepotism in including the Lauren Wool CD, as I was obviously involved in that, but it's THAT good, I promise; truth be told, the music I spend the most time listening to is stuff I'm working on at the time, with whichever artist that may be, so you'll most often find in my Car CD player (the only place I have time to really listen...) rough mixes of Christina Watson or Syncopation or the 18 takes of my piano solo that I'm in the process of editing...
